White Peak Field Barns

Photographs of old stone field barns and buildings within the Peak District national park, all taken during the winter of Jan/Feb 2015 after a snowfall around the area known as White Peak. Many of these buildings have fallen into a state of disrepair, most however are still used on farms for providing storage and/or protection from the elements for livestock. They are an iconic feature in this part of the English countryside.
A selection of six photographs from this series received an Honorable Mention in the 2015 'International Photography Awards'.
